The recount results showed Frisch only gaining four votes. Boebert won by a voting gap of just 546 votes for a margin of 50.06% to 49.89%.
“Colorado's elections are safe, secure, and accurate,” Secretary of State Jena Griswold said in the announcement. “I commend the election workers from across the state and my office for conducting these recounts and for their continued work to make Colorado the best place to cast a ballot.”
Ahead of Griswold’s announcement, Boebert posted a video message celebrating her victory and the Republicans taking control of the House. “The weight this responsibility of being in the majority holds requires discipline and targeted focus,” Boebert said. “It’s time we show how to get real work done for the people.”
A recount was announced late November after results showed Boebert leading by 550 votes, a close enough margin requiring a recount under Colorado law.
