Astros fire assistant general manager Scott Powers

The Astros have fired assistant general manager Scott Powers. Powers was hired away from the Dodgers last winter to work for GM James Click. Click was not retained by the Astros earlier on Friday, just six days after winning a World Series. The move was first reported by ESPN's Jeff Passan.
