People on the Move

New ventures, lobby moves, power players, and more

This is it.

The final weekend before Election Day 2026 has arrived as early voting in person concludes this evening. It’s fitting that Halloween is here right as Texas Comptroller Don Huffines was on stage telling Republican voters to be frightened during a rally with President Donald Trump in Lubbock.

On the Quorum Report Radio podcast tonight, we’ll break down the final push by the campaigns to turn out their voters and my friend Brad Johnson with The Texas Bullpen will drop by for a drink as we do our best to read the tea leaves ahead of Tuesday. The links to follow the show are on the QR homepage.

Meantime, career moves are in the news as People on the Move returns. It’s the most efficient way to let the entire Texas Capitol community know about your new gig – or you can share the career news of a friend or adversary. Send it anytime to ksbraddock@gmail.com and use POTM in the subject line. Please and thank you.

Here’s the latest edition.
