People on the Move
Staffer moves, power players, well-deserved awards, and barbecue from the Sine Die Smokers is back
Before
anything else: Don’t forget that the Sine Die Smokers are serving
up their tasty barbecue today with lunch served from 11:30 this morning until
2:30 then happy hour from 3pm to 5pm over at 1111 Guadalupe. Proceeds go to No
Hunger Inc. and the Central Texas Food Bank. Always great
stuff for a great cause.
Meantime, I
have to tell y’all the reactions to the new Quorum
Report podcast have been humbling to say the least. After only two
episodes, thousands of listeners have tuned in as we head
into this weekend and I appreciate the feedback about
our plans to offer premium programming in addition to the free shows we’ve done
so far. Coming up on Monday: Some real talk about
all the rumors of a third special session and more. As of now, the shows will
continue to drop early Monday mornings but some
changes are coming as we move into the next phase of this. So, make
sure you’re subscribed to the show to stay in the loop. Through that link you can subscribe on Apple podcasts and Spotify, but of course you can find it on all podcast apps by searching for "Quorum Report Radio." Depending on your browser, you may have to right click the link and open in a new tab.
Meantime,
there are some significant moves in the Texas Capitol community
this week to pass along. If you have career news to share – whether it’s you or
someone else – send it to ksbraddock@gmail.com
and use POTM in the subject line so I can keep it all straight in the inbox.
Please and thank you.
Here’s the
latest edition.
