Power players, PAC news, leadership transitions and more

While the nation reels and concerns grow about potential violence in the aftermath of the killing of top ally of President Donald Trump, Gov. Greg Abbott and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick continue to go back and forth and THC and chatter about a third special session is lingering out there but starting to calm down.

On the last point, let’s hope it stays that way.

Meantime, there were some significant career moves in the Texas Capitol community to tell you about and this is where we do it.
