FORMER SREC MEMBER AND TLR CRITIC MARK McCAIG TO HOST NEW WEEKLY RADIO SHOW

Program will air 4-5 every Sunday on conservative News Talk KNTH 1070 in Houston

Former State Republican Executive Committtee member Mark McCaig has always followed his own path. Starting Sunday at 4, he will be hosting a one hour radio program on Houston’s News Talk 1070AM KTNH. The program will also be streamed on the internet

Over the last year, McCaig has taken on Texans for Lawsuit Reform, accusing the group of moving beyond a tort reform agenda and using their organization and mega-PAC to further the business interests of their major donors.

TLR fires back that McCaig is not a true conservative because he is employed by uber-plaintiff lawyer and Democratic contributor Steve Mostyn.

McCaig counters that Mostyn has nothing to do with his efforts to shine light on TLR. To that end, McCaig’s group, Texans for Individual Rights hosts a website called Stop TLR and created a Facebook page that now has more than 25,000 friends.
