HK: The two gubernatorial battlegrounds leading up early voting, two candidates with high negatives among independent voters

We have spent decades watching single issue pro-life voters turn out, this will be the first time single issue pro-choice Democrats, Independents and even some Republicans potentially turn out

As always, the HK mantra is that incumbents do not get beat they get fired.

Now, some pro-O’Rourke TV and internet ads end with “Fire Greg Abbott.”

While every poll is subject to criticism these days, the recent UT Politics Poll continues the ongoing narrative that Beto O’Rourke seems to be capped at 40% but incumbent Greg Abbott continues to degrade now at 45%.

The Abbott and Patrick campaigns have been telling supporters that they have at least a secure 7% lead.

There are essentially two battlegrounds and how Abbott and O’Rourke are conducting their campaigns tells you a lot about the war zones and how they are dealing with them.
