A significant staff change, a notable retirement, and more

Well, the lobby is sort of coming back to life out there. I can’t stress “sort of” enough. I’ve been hearing from more of you as some return from their first vacation – or business development trip – of the summer. Sometimes those are inextricably linked, naturally.

The first campaign finance reports are out and more reelection bid announcements are being made. No big wave of retirements, though there’s chatter about those reports that include no new dollars raised by certain officeholders. More on that soon.
