Some GOP House members mull asking Paxton to weigh in on RPT demands for speaker form info

Republicans and Democrats alike wonder if guidance from the attorney general would be helpful in determining how to respond when the RPT inserts itself into the internal workings of the House of Representatives

Some GOP members of the Texas House are now considering whether to ask Attorney General Ken Paxton for an official opinion on whether information must be turned over to the Republican Party of Texas about those controversial speaker commitment forms, Quorum Report has learned.
