Rep. Pete Olson endorses Branch and says revelations about Paxton are "deeply disturbing"
Branch picks up endorsements of Olson and Rep. Bill Flores
In his bid for AG, Rep. Dan Branch
scored the endorsements of two congressmen on Monday and one of them, in making
his endorsement, took a direct shot at Sen. Ken Paxton over his recent ethics issues. Representatives Pete
Olson, R-Sugar Land, and Bill Flores,
R-College Station, both threw their support behind Branch. Olson was the one
who took particular exception to the ethical questions faced by Paxton.
“Recent events in the Republican runoff to choose our
Attorney General nominee have been deeply disturbing,” Olson said. ”Now that Sen. Ken Paxton has admitted to
repeatedly breaking laws designed to protect Texans from being cheated by
unscrupulous investment companies, it is clear we cannot have him as a nominee
to be our state’s top law enforcement officer.”

and Flores is here.
