Patrick and Paxton each get a six-figure boost from Tim Dunn

Steve Toth and Konni Burton also getting significant infusions

In their campaigns for statewide office, both Senators Dan Patrick and Ken Paxton are getting six-figure infusions from Midland oilman Tim Dunn through the Empower Texans PAC.

In an Ethics Commission filing made public today - the 8 day report for the May 10 special election – the group’s political action committee disclosed they've made a donation of $100,000 to Patrick and the same amount went to Paxton.
