"My most important responsibility is to my family"

Frisco City Councilman Scott Johnson said in a statement this afternoon, “After much thought, prayer, and reflection, I have decided this is not an optimum time in my life to run for the Texas Senate. While I have the passion for good conservative policy and public service, I don’t have time to wage the kind of campaign needed, while serving the people of Frisco, overseeing a major business acquisition and spending needed time with my wife and our four young children.”

“My most important responsibility is to my family. It takes precedence over any other priority,” said Johnson. “I want to thank all the people who have supported me, and given voice to the need for an optimistic, conservative vision for the future.”
