LONGTIME KBH AIDE LINDSEY PARHAM JOINS TEAM STRAUS

Will fill role of senior advisor to the House Speaker's political action committee, Texans for Joe Straus

“Texas House Speaker Joe Straus today announced that he has hired Lindsey Howe Parham as a senior advisor to his political committee, Texans for Joe Straus. Parham is a veteran of Texas politics, having worked with Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison from 1993 until the Senator’s retirement in January.

“‘After two decades of service to Senator Hutchison and to the people of Texas, I’m pleased that Lindsey Parham will be joining my team,’ said Speaker Straus. ‘I look forward to working with her to strengthen our organization and expand our outreach to the residents of District 121, as well as the people around the state with whom I now work as Speaker. Lindsey brings a wealth of organizational talent, grassroots knowledge of every corner of the state and a commitment to doing what’s right for the people of Texas.’

“Parham is the President of LHP + Company, a public affairs consulting firm. She most recently served as Chief of Staff to Senator Hutchison. She began working for Senator Hutchison as a travel aide during the 1993 special election and served as a close advisor to the Senator throughout her tenure, both in her Senate office and on political campaigns.”
