HD 50 CANDIDATES IN PLACE FOR THE SPECIAL ELECTION ON NOV. 5
What was potentially a very crowded field narrowed down to four – for now.
There will be four Democrats and one Republican vying for the North Austin State House District formerly represented by Mark Strama, but one of those Democrats will have to wait until next year to enter the race.
Several sharp QR readers noted on Thursday that
our report included names of some who had been only rumored to be running or
had only taken some of the steps necessary to be on the ballot. That’s true.
When we posted, the filing deadline had not passed.
