AGENDAWISE SUED BY PROMINENT WEST TEXAN FOR LIBEL AND DEFAMATION STEMMING FROM LANDTROOP KING RACE
Lawsuit seeks broad discovery of documents, recordings, conversations and more
West
Texas investor and long time member of the Canadien school board Salem
Abraham today filed a lawsuit alleging libel by Daniel Greer and AgendaWise.com, a member of the
conservative blogosphere that plays in Texas politics and government. Greer’s bio on the site says that he has
previously worked for Empower Texans.
The
affiliation may be deeper. According to
the lawsuit, Westin Hicks, Leslie Graves, Michael Quinn Sullivan and Tim Dunn are or have been on the board
of the sponsoring Fix the Facts Foundation that operates AgendaWise.
In
his lawsuit, Abraham alleges that Greer and his publication maliciously
misrepresented the facts of a campaign event hosted on behalf of Jim Landtroop in his race against Ken King for Warren Chisum’s open seat at a coffee shop in Levellend, Texas.
