People on the Move
The staffer shuffle, veteran lobby moves, agency news, and more
On this dreary Friday, we
are now closing in on the filing deadline. As reporter James Russell has
noted there have been a few surprises but for the most part the announcements
and filings have been what most of us expected all along.
It seems GOP incumbents
have given little reason for third party enforcement groups to be angry with
their voting records – not that those groups won't just make things up –
leading some sharp observers to point out that there really aren't that many
legislative challengers as compared to some past cycles. We'll see what happens
before December 13.
Meantime, some of you ask
now and then what the deadline is for POTM submissions. The answer is typically
that you can send career news anytime you like to ksbraddock@gmail.com and use POTM in the
subject line so you're not lost in the shuffle. But if you want something to
appear ASAP, the answer is to submit it prior to 10am on Friday a couple hours
before this column is usually published. During the holidays, just remember
there will not be a POTM article on December 24 or 31.
Here's the latest edition
