After bitter debate on critical race theory in the Legislature, school districts face a highwire act
Rep. Toth took the debate to the Conroe ISD this week

race theory in the classroom promises to be a highwire act for most school
districts, with school leaders insisting CRT has never been a part of school
curriculum and angry opponents just as convinced Texas classrooms are rife with
it.
Enter CRT bill sponsor Rep. Steve Toth,
R-The Woodlands, at this week’s Conroe Independent School District
meeting. Grace
Woodlands Church, in a post on Facebook, promised nothing short of Toth
standing for truth and light on behalf of families in the Conroe ISD community that
want to stop “Critical Race Theory, Trans-Genderism, Hyper-Sexuality, Value
Shaming, Political Activism and Virtue Signaling.”
