Amid increased voter registration, Sen. Huffines requests emergency hearing on election security
"The scale of voter registration & voting by non-citizens could be massive," Huffines said; his opponent Nathan Johnson counters “Huffines is trying to mislead voters now, just like he was when explaining why he went to Russia.”
increased voter turnout in Dallas County and elsewhere in the state, Sen. Don Huffines on Monday asked for an
emergency Texas Senate hearing on election security.
Huffines said he was making the request because of “allegations of illegal voting
by non-citizens and officials' failure to adequately respond.” But his critics
said Huffines is laying the groundwork to be able to explain a possible loss to
his challenger Nathan Johnson as Dallas
County turns increasingly Democratic.
