Ahead of House investigation, Stickland denies any wrongdoing
“It was what I can only characterize as an ambush by a political opponent”
Following
last week's late night blowup in the Texas House Transportation Committee
in which he was escorted out, Rep. Jonathan
Stickland, R-Bedford, said on Monday that he did nothing wrong.
In
a statement
posted on his website, Stickland blamed the media, at least in part, who he
said “jumped to make accusations that crimes had taken place before they had
any facts about the situation whatsoever.”
