Patrick puts transition team in place

Logan Spence to be chief of staff for now; Allen Blakemore and Sherry Sylvester, spokeswoman for TLR, assisting the team's efforts

Lt. Gov-Elect Dan Patrick on Thursday rolled out the members of his transition staff and launched a new website thanking voters for helping him win the election.

“My long-time chief of staff and current campaign manager, Logan Spence, will begin serving as the chief of staff of the transition team,” Patrick said. “I’m also happy to announce that Roy Bailey, successful businessman from Dallas, will bring his business acumen and perspective to the transition team."

In a release, his campaign said "Assisting the transition team’s efforts will be Allen Blakemore, Chief Campaign Strategist and Principal of Blakemore and Associates, Bob Wickers, Media Strategist and President of the Wickers Group, and Sherry Sylvester, Media Strategist and a Senior Communications Advisor to Texans for Lawsuit Reform."
