A Democrat exploring a run at state Comptroller has now pulled together his campaign team with members having served time for other Democratic officeholders both in Texas and beyond the state.

Michael Collier has hired the firm of Stanford Caskey to serve as his general consultant. The firm has represented San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro, Congressman Joaquín Castro as well as Congressman Pete Gallego.
